Happy New Year! In this newsletter we’re highlighting five dioceses where we'll be working next month.
In February, Building Catholic Futures will be in Denver, Green Bay, Milwaukee, New York City, and Washington, DC to meet with Catholics in a wide range of ministry roles. If you’re in one of these dioceses (or neighboring ones—Brooklyn, Newark, and Richmond, you’re invited too!) and you’d like to learn more about what we’re doing, contact us, and let’s meet up!

Prayer requests
In January the Church celebrates several saints whose examples have inspired LGBT+ people, and whose prayers have sustained BCF’s work. We’d love it if you asked one or more of these holy people to intercede for our work.
January 3 is the feast of Sts Basil the Great and Gregory of Nazianzus, whose friendship spurred them on to ever greater heights of Christian faith. Sts Basil and Gregory, pray that we may love one another, see Christ in one another, and use the gifts of the intellect to serve the Church!
January 4 was Epiphany this year, but it’s also the feast of St Elizabeth Ann Seton, patroness of Catholic education and a special patroness for Eve and her partner. St Elizabeth, pray for all the teachers, catechists, parents, and other educators who guide and support BCF’s work.
On January 12, we will celebrate St Aelred, one of BCF’s two patron saints—not only for his beautiful dialogues on Spiritual Friendship, but for his skill as an administrator. St Aelred, pray that we may act with wisdom, prudence, and selfless love.
And on January 28, we celebrate St Thomas Aquinas. We've written a few times about BCF's relationship to the Dominicans. St Thomas, pray for our Confident Witnesses, that they may preach the Gospel by their lives.
